Old Tappan police issue warning following bear sighting
Old Tappan police are telling the public to use caution after a bear was spotted in town.
The bear was seen on Corrigan Way. They say that since the bear was not acting aggressively, it is to be left alone. The public is urged not to engage with the bear in any way.
Bear sightings appear to be on the rise across the Garden State. Bears were spotted in South Orange, Ramsey and Prospect Park over the last few weeks.
