16h agoOfficials say that a wildfire at the Atco Dragway in the Wharton State Forest is 75% contained.
That fire has impacted 1,500 acres of land, according to the New Jersey Forest Fire Service. It was first reported Sunday evening.
Jackson Road remains closed in the area while crews are battling the fire. No structures are in danger and there are no evacuations at this time.
Officials also warned members of the public to refrain from flying their drones around the fire.
"No Drones in Fire Zones - If YOU fly, WE can't!" the fire service posted on Twitter.
