A single-engine plane crash-landed in a Hunterdon County field Monday afternoon, according to officials.
They say it happened just before 4:30 p.m. in a field off Ellis Road in Holland Township. Officials say the pilot tried to land in a large hay field. The plane flipped over during the landing. The pilot was the only person on the plane at the time of the crash.
The pilot was treated for minor injuries at the scene. No one on the ground was hurt, according to officials.
The Federal Aviation Administration will investigate the cause of the crash.
