Over 70 people were displaced due to a five-alarm fire between three connected buildings in Dover on Saturday afternoon.
The fire broke out on West Blackwell Street near Dewey Street.
The families who were displaced were told they could stay across the street at the Casa Puerto Rico Sports Club.
City officials were working with the Red Cross and several other organizations to help those who were displaced as of Saturday night.
The Dover Fire Department said most of the damage happened on the rear of the second and third floors of the three connected buildings involved in the fire, including a business.
The department also evacuated residents on Blackwell Street from Prospect Street to Dewey Street and the power had to be cut while the fire was extinguished.
There were no injuries reported.
