Ocean County officials say that a Lakehurst Borough business has been cited for allegedly selling illegal vaping products.

Officials say that Lakehurst Lucky 7 on Route 70 was selling flavored tobacco vape products. The sale of flavored tobacco products is illegal in New Jersey.

Authorities confiscated 698 pieces of illegal products at the business.

“I can assure anyone that tries to sell illegal products in our county that the Department of Consumer Affairs will remain vigilant and will prosecute the offenders to the full extent of the law,” wrote Joseph Vicari, director of the Ocean County Board of Commissioners.
