Authorities have identified the bus passenger killed in Friday's commuter bus crash that killed two and injured several people.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office says Jesy Garcia died after being taken to a hospital from the scene of the crash in Newark.
The 49-year-old is described as someone who was extremely hardworking and focused on her family and grandchildren.
A fundraising page for funeral expenses for Garcia says she was headed to a job at a factory when the crash occurred.
As News 12 reported, 70-year-old Joseph Barthelus, the driver of the New Jersey Transit 59 Line bus involved in the crash, died Friday morning.
City officials say that one person remains in the hospital in critical condition and five more are in serious condition.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the crash.
