Officials: Fire damages multiple storage units at Public Storage in Eatontown

Eatontown officials say the fire began around 5:45 p.m. Sunday.

Multiple storage units were damaged in a fire in Eatontown on Sunday afternoon.
The fire was at Public Storage on Route 35. The fire took out several units toward the back of the property.
Eatontown officials say the fire began around 5:45 p.m. Sunday. There were reports of smoke coming from one of the units. Police say there was an active fire when crews arrived that eventually spread to neighboring units.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
