Officials: Car strikes parked vehicle, dorm at Monmouth University

An evacuation order was put into place Monday at Monmouth University after officials say a car struck a parked vehicle, and then a dorm.
The accident happened Monday around 2:45 p.m. at Hesse Hall, which houses freshman.
According to officials, a white Mercedes-Benz SL550 collided with an unoccupied Jeep SUV before striking the building.
Officials say both vehicles had rear-end damage.
The Asbury Park Press reports the driver was taken to the hospital, but there is no word on their condition.
Reports say the driver was not a student.
No one else was involved in the accident.
