An Atlantic City man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl inside her home in 2022.

Authorities say 41-year-old Oscar Oberlino Gomez Miralda was in a relationship with the victim’s mother and living with them at the time of the incident.

The assault was discovered after the woman installed a camera to record her daughter’s bedroom while she was at work.

Gomez Miralda now faces 25 years to life in prison without parole.

Before he can be sentenced, authorities say he must be evaluated to determine whether he poses a risk of reoffending.
