According to officials, the number of cases could increase, after the university's contact tracer identified dozens of students with close contact to them. They have been advised to self-quarantine. Some of them have symptoms of coronavirus and are awaiting test results, while others have not been tested.
Officials say students with the nine identified cases are all living in private homes and residences in Ewing.
The college of around 6,500 full time students is holding classes remotely this semester, with only about 50 living on campus.
It's unknown where the students may have been infected.
