Officials: 26 displaced by Jersey City fire

The fire is believed to have started in a business on the ground level of the building and quickly spread to adjacent residential units.

Twenty-six people have been displaced after a four-alarm in Jersey City on Friday, the Hudson County Prosecutor Office says.
It happened just before 11 p.m. on John F. Kennedy Boulevard.
Upon their arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke and fire coming from the building.
The fire is believed to have started in a business on the ground level of the building and quickly spread to adjacent residential units.
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries and were treated at Jersey City Medical Center.
The Hudson County Regional Arson Task Force along with Jersey City Fire Department are investigating.
