A New Jersey Transit bus collided with a Jeep in Jersey City Wednesday afternoon.

Officials say it happened on Newark Avenue just after 4 p.m.

They say 13 passengers on the bus and the bus driver were taken to the hospital to be checked for injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

It was not clear if the driver of the Jeep was injured.
