Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says the cool and rainy weather takes a backseat this week and lets summer have its true last hurrah. It's finally dry and temperatures will climb to near 80 degrees as the new week starts.
WHAT'S NEW:
Finally dry.  Risk of some fog developing late, and hazy skies will try to return for part of the area again Monday.
Monday: Daytime temperatures are running several degrees above normal next week with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Nighttime temps will stay above normal and near 60 degrees too.
This week: The weather remains dry and sunny for several days.  At the end of next week, we will see a cold front approach Friday. Clouds and rain will move in with a chance of storms. Temperatures won't be as warm, but then it gets a lot colder next weekend. Temperatures will fall back into the 60s again and have you thinking of pumpkin spice all over again.
