NYPD: Suspect on the loose after subway slashing in Brooklyn

The NYPD is searching for a suspect linked to a Sunday subway assault at the Bedford Avenue station.

The NYPD is searching for a suspect linked to a Sunday subway assault at the Bedford Avenue station.
According to the NYPD, the suspect was harassing commuters and slapped one in the face.
A 36-year-old man attempted to intervene, and the suspect allegedly slashed the victim across the face with a sharp weapon before fleeing the station.
The victim is in stable condition.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
