NYPD participates in basketball game as part of Disability Pride Month

The NYPD took on players from the NYC Rolling Fury and Lexington School for the Deaf. Some of the players from Lexington have participated in the NYPD’s Summer Youth Employment Program.

Several members of the NYPD took part in a basketball game Saturday in celebration of Disability Pride Month.
The NYPD took on players from the NYC Rolling Fury and Lexington School for the Deaf. Some of the players from Lexington have participated in the NYPD’s Summer Youth Employment Program.
This celebration was the first ever of its kind and was made possible by the NYPD’s Community Affairs Bureau and the Patrol Services Bureau.
