NY Giants honor families impacted by childhood cancer at annual Jay Fund Gala

Thursday night was a different kind of primetime event at MetLife Stadium.
The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, founded by the legendary New York Giants coach, celebrated and honored local families impacted by childhood cancer.
“When families hear those words - that they have a child with cancer - their lives completely change,” Coughlin said.
Among the messages in the Giants locker room, they ask their players to be tough, energetic and team-first. Their four newest recruits might be some of the strongest in this room.
Kaylee, Averie, Luciana and Jabari are among the honored guests at the annual gala. Each of them got their own locker next to Giants all-stars, filled with their favorite things.
Coughlin founded the Jay Fund after one of his players at Boston College, Jay McGillis, battled leukemia. It’s been 20 years since he brought the foundation to New Jersey.
