One of New Jersey’s most famous natives was honored in Essex County this week.
Elm Place in Nutley will now be known as Martha Stewart Place.
Stewart grew up in a home on Elm Place in the 1950s.
She was a guest on the “Drew Barrymore Show” when township officials joined the tape of the show from Nutley to deliver the news.
Stewart’s appearance on the show will air on Nov. 12.
