North Brunswick police warn of phone scam offering immigration services

Police say that the unknown callers are “spoofing” their phone number to make it appear as if the call is coming from North Brunswick Township.

The North Brunswick Police Department is warning residents about a phone scam that falsely offers immigration services.

Police say that the unknown callers are “spoofing” their phone number to make it appear as if the call is coming from North Brunswick Township. The callers are then offering immigration services.

Police say that no one from the township will be calling to offer such services.

They say that anyone who receives such a call should hang up immediately.
