9h agoA North Bergen police officer died after an early Saturday morning car accident.
Authorities say Officer Julio Noriega crashed with a garbage truck on the way to work.
His car caught fire and he later died at the hospital.
One of the people on the garbage truck was also hurt but is expected to recover.
