The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is encouraging people to avoid most of the fun Halloween activities this year amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The agency recommends no trick-or-treating, no costume masks, and no indoor costume parties or haunted houses.
According to the CDC, those activities are all high-risk.
The CDC does suggest some low-risk activities, such as carving pumpkins or decorating your home.
The agency also says people could have outdoor scavenger hunts, virtual costume contests or a movie night.
