Members of the North Bergen Police Department are shaving their beards off after donating thousands to a great cause.
No Shave November is a charity event to raise awareness for colorectal cancer.
The officers have been growing their beards out for an entire month to spread awareness about early detection of colorectal cancer.
The officers say screening is the best defense.
Jagged Edge, the business doing the honors of shaving the officers, is owned by a Bob Ceragno, a cancer survivor. He says it's all about spreading awareness.
