NJ Turnpike service area reopens after tractor-trailer fire
A tractor-trailer fire on the New Jersey Turnpike led to the closure of the Vince Lombardi Service Area.
State police say the vehicle was parked in front of the convenience store around 3 a.m. when it burst into flames.
The fire then spread to the building.
No one was injured.
The rest area sustained minor water and smoke damage, but the tractor-trailer was destroyed.
The rest area has since reopened.
