The Morris and Essex Line is operational again after an empty train hit a tree on the tracks Tuesday morning.
It happened before 5 a.m. near Mount Arlington Station, heading toward Hoboken.
No passengers were on board as the train wasn’t in service yet.
The line runs parallel to I-80, where some residents use transit to avoid sinkhole-related road closures.
