NJ Transit rail service has resumed on major lines after earlier disruptions caused by Amtrak overhead wire issues near Newark.
Service is now running on the Northeast Corridor Line between Penn Station New York and Trenton.
The North Jersey Coast Line has also resumed service between Penn Station New York and Woodbridge.
Customers may still experience residual delays following the earlier suspension.
Raritan Valley Line trains continue to originate and terminate at Newark Penn Station.
NJ Transit rail tickets and passes are being cross-honored by NJ Transit and private carrier buses, and by PATH at Newark, Hoboken and 33rd Street in New York.
