Rail service into and out of Penn Station New York today is operating on or close to schedule with residual delays to trains already enroute following earlier Amtrak overhead power issues near Secaucus, NJ Transit announced.

Rail service was delayed this morning up to an hour due to the overhead power issues.

NJ Transit said it was cross-honoring rail tickets by NJ Transit bus, private carriers and PATH at Newark Penn Station, Hoboken and 33rd Street, New York.
