NJ Transit rail service is facing significant delays Monday morning because of an Amtrak track condition in one of the Hudson River tunnels.

NJ Transit said trains are subject to delays of up to 60 minutes into and out of New York Penn Station. Midtown Direct trains are being diverted to Hoboken.

The disruption is affecting most of NJ Transit’s rail system. The Atlantic City Rail Line and Princeton Dinky were listed as operating on time Monday morning.

Individual trains have also been canceled as a result of the disruption.

NJ Transit did not immediately say when normal service was expected to resume.
