NJ Transit bus collides with dump truck in North Bergen

A NJ Transit bus collided with another vehicle around 7 a.m. Thursday in North Bergen. A NJ Transit spokeswoman said the bus collided with a dump truck at the corner of Westside Avenue and 69th Street.

A NJ Transit bus collided with another vehicle around 7 a.m. Thursday in North Bergen.
A NJ Transit spokeswoman said the bus collided with a dump truck at the corner of Westside Avenue and 69th Street. Investigators say the bus driver apparently lost control of the bus. The driver had to be cut out from the bus. About seven passengers were also injured, but she said none of the injuries appear to be serious.
The bus was traveling between Jersey City and Hackensack. Police are continuing the investigate the crash.
