New Jersey will begin accepting applications to run legal marijuana businesses on Dec. 15.

The Cannabis Regulatory Commission will open the application process then to marijuana growers, processors and testing labs.

Applications for dispensaries will open three months later on March 15.

There are no deadlines to file applications. They'll be accepted on a rolling basis.

Only cultivation licenses have a cap.
