A New Jersey State Police chase ended in a trooper-involved shooting Sunday afternoon in Orange, according the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General.

The chase ended on the exit ramp off of Highway 280 and at least one man was injured in the shooting.

News 12 obtained video from a viewer that was taken near the intersection of Freeway Drive and Center Street just after 2 p.m.

The attorney general's office confirmed that was the time when the shooting happened.

Multiple rounds of gunshots can be heard going off in the video.

A News 12 crew on the scene observed two cars, a Mercedes and a gray Acura, that appear to have collided. The Acura's window was riddled with what appeared to be bullet holes.

Dozens of state police officers, as well as the Orange Police Department, were on scene throughout the day.

The circumstances that led to the chase and the shooting were still unknown as of Sunday night.
