The weather will be quiet for the remainder of the week and into the weekend.
The dominating meteorological force influencing the weather in New Jersey is high pressure that is currently over the northern Great Lakes. This will drift towards the state through the weekend, keeping skies, for the most part, mainly sunny.
The next opportunity for showers is very late Sunday night into Monday morning. Sunday starts off with a hint of sun, but clouds will be collecting throughout the day. Wet weather holds off until after midnight.
