New information has come out about two New Jersey men who were arrested and accused of being part of an ISIS-inspired terror plot.

Tomas Kaan Jimenez-Guzal, of Montclair, is a freshman at Rowan University.

The school put out a statement confirming that he is a student there. They say he is a computer science major in the College of Science and Math.

The statement confirmed that there were no threats to the campus and that the school is fully cooperating with law enforcement officials.

Federal officials say that Jimenez-Guzal and Milo Sedarat, also from New Jersey, are accused of using encrypted messages and trying to travel to Syria to join ISIS.

Officials say they are also connected to a Halloween terror plot busted in Detroit.

Officials say that Jimenez-Guzal communicated with other co-conspirators and volunteered to carry out beheadings.
