A New Jersey father, who lost his son in Iraq, wanted to see firsthand what his boy went through overseas.
John Wroblewski says his trip to the war-torn nation, where his soldier son lost his life, is an experience he will never forget. Marine Lieutenant J.T. Wroblewski died almost three years ago during a firefight in Ramadi. Wroblewski says his trip to Iraq gave him a sense of closeness to his son.
Wroblewski was able to take the trip with the help of a radio talk show host and the U.S. military. The fallen soldier?s father says the trip gave him an opportunity to spend time with this country?s best. Wroblewski says despite the loss of his son, he supports the war and the president?s plan to send in more troops.
