New Jersey bargain shoppers say the best deals happen in the early-morning hours on Black Friday.

Some stores in the Garden State opened at 3 a.m. to accommodate the large crowds. Shops and malls offered sales trying to attract customers. Jersey Gardens even set up a Winter Wonderland with falling snow for shoppers to enjoy.

Some stores were only letting a few customers in at a time for crowd control. Shoppers say losing sleep and navigating crowds are worth it to get good prices on items. Some residents say getting up early on Black Friday is family tradition.
