Madison 6th grader makes it to finals in national singing competition

A sixth grader from New Jersey made it to the National Student Auditions finals in the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition.
Miya Behrmann traveled to Knoxville, Tennessee, to compete and won first place in the children's musical theatre category.
Miya is a student at Sellwood Studio of Performing Arts in Madison.
She will be a sixth grader at Madison Junior School in the fall.
This year's competition had more than 1,000 contestants.
Congratulations, Miya. You made Jersey Proud.
