News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Michele Powers says New Jersey will see sunny conditions and warm temperatures, which will continue into Memorial Day.
NEW: Memorial Day weekend looks good. Rain stays just south of the state, with some chance of light showers drifting into Wildwood Sunday afternoon/evening. Overall, our forecast is green lighting for all outdoor activities. But hold off on the long periods in the ocean - it is cold. The water temp is 59 degrees.
NOW: We approach temperatures in the mid-70s to low-80s on Sunday. The Shore is slightly under, within 69-71, but the sun will shine for all to enjoy.  
NEXT: Hello 80s. Next week will feature warmer days with a dry stretch. Rain chances increase by next Friday.
FORECAST
SUNDAY: Sunshine with a few clouds. Highs near 80. Lows stay warm near 59. 
MONDAY: Sunshine with clouds collecting by the second half of the day. Cloudier across south Jersey. Highs near 81. Lows near 60.
TUESDAY: Sun and more clouds mix with closer to normal highs, 75 degrees. Lows near 54.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny. Highs near 81. Lows near 62.
