News 12 joined MSG Network Wednesday night for the Knicks’ annual Garden of Dreams Night, an event that celebrates local children who have faced significant challenges and were given once-in-a-lifetime opportunities during the game.
As part of News 12’s youth initiative, The Drop, the station met families inside their suites at Madison Square Garden and distributed branded swag bags to children participating in the night’s festivities. The Drop supports youth-based organizations across the region and aims to encourage athletics and sports participation among local children.
Garden of Dreams Night is held annually to recognize children experiencing adversity, including medical challenges, financial hardship, and other obstacles. Families said the experience was uplifting, memorable, and a rare moment for the kids to be in the spotlight.
