News 12 New Jersey was given a behind-the-scenes tour of the Mars Wrigley headquarters in Newark. It is a literal chocolate factory that makes M&Ms, Skittles and other tasty treats.
The company is releasing some new candies, including M&M Peanut Butter Minis and Skittles Littles.
"It makes me feel great to see so much interest in Mars. Sometimes being a private company, you may not have as much clarity about who we are, what we're about and so for us this is a new experience,” says Anton Vincent, president of Marks Wrigley North America. “It's unprecedented, so it's great that we have so many people that are interested in our products, in our brands, in our services."
Mars was founded in Newark in 1941. The company brought its U.S. headquarters back to Newark in 2020.
