Officials: Newark man fatally shot on Christmas Day

A 34-year-old man was killed in Newark on Christmas day.
Officials say Ridge Scott Jr., of Newark, was killed Monday around 1:30 p.m. They say police found Scott suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the 300 block of Clinton Avenue, not far from Jesse Allen Park.
Scott was taken to University Hospital where he later died, according to officials. No arrests have been made.
