An interactive civil rights pop-up museum recently opened in Newark that focuses on free voting rights.
The social justice organization Project Ready created the exhibit that will be on display until June 30.
Project Ready CEO Shennell McCloud showed News 12 New Jersey some of the museum's exhibits and explained their historic importance.
The pop-up museum, located at 79 University Avenue in Newark, will open to the public on Friday, April 7 from 3 to 8 p.m. and will be open through June 30. Free tickets are available at Eventbrite
