The New York Jets wrapped up the team’s mandatory minicamp in Florham Park this week.
The team now heads into an extended break before training camp begins at the end of July.
First-year head coach Robert Saleh says that the minicamp was productive and that the team is healthy.
As for the “all gas, no breaks” culture he promised to bring to the Jets, Saleh says that the team’s true identity won’t reveal itself until it faces adversity.
“How are you going to look as not only an individual but as a team. Those moments have yet to reveal itself and like I've said a million times now, we're going to have a lot of ebbs and flows,” he says. “There's going to be a lot of great moments, there's going to be a lot of hair-pulling moments but at the end of the day, that's what's going to shape this football team.”
The Jets report for training camp at the end of July. They open the 2021 season at Carolina on Sept. 12.
