A new mural celebrating womanhood, freedom and ancestry is now on full display in Newark.
The new mural is on a building across from the Prudential Center.
The mural was painted by artist Adama Delphine Fawundu and students from Rutgers-Newark's BOLD Women's Leadership Network.
The mural was painted on the facade of Project for Empty Space, a women-owned arts organization located on Broad Street.
