A new eatery in Mercer County is hoping its customers give back to help the people of Ukraine.
Wioletta Wyszynski says that she saw a need for an establishment that served healthy and convenient meals. She opened Crave Nature’s Eatery – a fast and casual style restaurant.
Beyond her mission to feed the community, the Poland native also wanted to give back.
“It’s unimaginable, the situation that’s happening in Ukraine. So, I like to call everyone to help as much as they can,” Wyszynski says.
She is hoping her new customers rise to the challenge.
“I would like to ask everyone, when you visit Crave, to bring medical supplies like tourniquets, bandages – anything you possibly can think of for medical needs for Ukraine. We will be shipping them over to help,” Wyszynski says.
The restaurant has a contact in Poland who will help deliver the supplies.
A box is also set up inside the restaurant for people to drop off donations.
Crave will also donate some of the proceeds from its sales to relief efforts overseas.
