Windy and cold weather lingers across New Jersey for today with gusts 25-35 mph. Wind chills will be in the lower 20s throughout the day with air temperatures hovering in the lower to mid-30s all day long.
A batch of windswept flurries blows across northern New Jersey this evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A light dusting/trace of snow is possible in select spots. Not a big deal, though!
Tomorrow will be sunnier and still cold with highs in the mid-30s with lightly breezy conditions.
Saturday trends cloudy with an aura of approaching snow. Temperatures stay in the mid-30s.
Snow does arrive overnight into Sunday morning, dropping 1 to 3 inches across the state for Sunday morning. The light snow leaves for slippery impacts early on Sunday, but it wraps up by noon to a sunny afternoon sky. It remains cold and roads improve quickly. This light dusting of snow comes just ahead of the Hanukkah holiday.
