Ruthie's Bar-B-Q & Pizza in Montclair is requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination for indoor dining.
Anyone is still welcome to eat outside or get takeout, but if you want to dine in, you’ll need to have been vaccinated.
“It doesn’t bother me,” says Allahjah Young-Bey, of Montclair. “I’ll sit outside, it’s not a problem.”
Potential customers are reacting to a decision to only allow vaccinated customers to dine inside the restaurant.

“It makes sense if you were vaccinated, she’s able to go inside and eat, if you’re not, as long as you respect the social distancing rules and the mask wearing, I can see both sides of it,” says Matt Kennedy, of Montclair.
Earlier this month, It's Greek To Me in Ridgewood became the first New Jersey restaurant to have a vaccination policy.
Gov. Phil Murphy has not put a state-wide vaccine policy in place.
