With early voting beginning on Saturday, voters can cast their ballot in person for both the primary election and general election during this short period before Election Day.
"A lot of people don't feel the importance of it. Very important to get your voice heard. Everybody's voice counts," said Velita, who is voting early.
Many people prefer to get ahead of their vote before Election Day.
"During the presidential election, we definitely went out early because it was such a strong emphasis on voting and avoiding long lines," said Antonetta, another early voter.
There are several ways to do it. There are designated areas for early voting locations in each county. You can cast your ballot in person from tomorrow through Nov. 2. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Voting by mail began Sept. 20. Ballots must be postmarked by 8 p.m. on Nov. 4.
Once it’s mailed, it will be received by the county’s Board of Elections on or before six days after Election Day.
