The American Red Cross New Jersey Region is sending crews to help with storm recovery efforts in Florida.
The group is sending an Emergency Response Vehicle and four disaster workers. They took off from the agency’s Tinton Falls office on Saturday.
In total, 730 trained Red Cross disaster workers are supporting the Ian relief effort.
Shelters are open in Florida, South Carolina and Georgia for those who need a safe place to stay.
