A long snapper from New Jersey is getting national recognition for a position in football that often doesn't get any respect.
Joe Shimko’s job on the field at Wall is to get the ball to the punter accurately, which can be difficult, especially when the pressure's on.
Shimko is one of only two long snappers in the U.S. to be honored as a U.S. Army All American.
He’s also going to North Carolina State, a top Division I school, on a full scholarship.
Some pros do this for a living.
Manahwakin's Clark Harris is in his 12th season now playing with the Cincinnati Bengals.
