A New Jersey man was sentenced to a decade in prison for committing a pair of bank robberies in Connecticut, police say.
Bomani Africa, an admitted hit man, pleaded guilty to murder in 2022 for the killing of Michael Galdieri, the son of a state senator. Galdieri was found stabbed to death in a burning building in Jersey City in 2014.
In 1986, Africa was sentenced to 50 years in prison for robbery, assault and drug crimes.
