Here's a look at some of the recommendations:
Students with a fever, cough or difficulty breathing should be isolated from other students.
Schools should implement flexible attendance and sick leave policies. Prepare to offer home instruction to students.
The schools should also prepare alternative instruction policies, including home instruction.
Schools are not expected to screen either students or staff to identify possible cases of the virus.
During school dismissals, child care programs and schools may stay open for staff while students stay home.
