A New Jersey farm has revealed the mystery of what happens to all the leftover pumpkins once Halloween is over.
Danny Skeba, of Red Wagon Farm, says some of the pumpkins are used to feed the animals while others are chopped up in a big tractor.
The pumpkins that get chopped up are used as nutrients for the soil.
"A lot of it goes right back in when you chop it up, so it saves on fertilizer for the following season," says Skeba.
Skeba says sometimes it's sad to have to chop up the pumpkins especially when it's a big prize winner.
Some towns also have composting sheds where people can drop off pumpkins for recycling.
